Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is a nucleotide consisting of an ester of triphosphoric acid with ribose (monosaccharide) and a glycoside bond with the purine base adenine. Research has shown that ATP appears to have strong potential as a skin-restoring ingredient and as a soothing agent."
