For centuries, the South Korean countryside has yielded some of the most nutrient rich plants and minerals in the world. Some of the purest extracts from this region are used for its health and beauty properties.

It was in this environment that Dr. Ann Lee learned to appreciate the healing power of this legendary region. Her strong aesthetic sense prompted a move to the United States to pursue her studies as a cosmetic chemist.

For the past 30+ years, Dr. Lee has sourced some of the best ingredients in Asia, Europe, and South America. By combining her Korean heritage and US education in cosmetic chemistry, Dr. Lee has achieved the fine balance of utilizing Western actives & ingredients with the holistic Eastern approach to treating skin concerns and ailments. She has worked her way up to the highest levels of contract formulation and manufacturing with some of the world’s most famous brands, chemists, and celebrities.

With the help and guidance of her family & friends; Dr. Lee launched Dermaesthetics Beverly Hills, a results oriented skincare company for beauty professionals. The entire line of products is currently sold globally in over 20 different countries all over Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas.

Our Heritage

Dr. Lee’s strong aesthetic sense prompted a move to the United States to pursue her career as a cosmetic chemist. For the past 35+ years she has worked around the globe at the highest levels of contract formulation and manufacturing with some of the world’s most famous brands, chemists, actors, models and celebrities. 

“Years of experience, working as a cosmetic chemist, but being a woman concerned with my own aging, made me want to create a corrective skincare line as a professional alternative to what was out there,” says Dr. Lee. 

Having tried and tested all the products and treatments as well as alternative natural and organic beauty ranges available, Dr. Lee felt that women were often being asked to compromise on something: “The visual appearance of a product, as well as the retail environment, are huge factors in shopping for beauty products,” she says. “I always wanted a line that could hold its own in terms of quality and design alongside the established brands in doctor’s offices, spas, department stores and designer boutiques, but provide a line truly for professionals.”
